I am trying to use QuickConnect to access my DS920+ when away from home. I am able to login to the box as admin, but am told to expect an email (apparently to my Synology account user.

I think I can define port forwarding rules in my router in combination with DDNS to map an externally accesible port on the WAN side of my router to port 8765 on the local LAN IP of the docker.
There's no way to add other services to quickconnect. So you'll have to do a port forwarding for anything not already supported by quickconnect. It isn't that complicated: you need ddns configured.
